Accounting Short Course for SME, Singapore
Our next training is set on Thursday 27th April 2017, 10.00am to 4.00pm (lunch 1 hour) and another 2 days of 3.5 hours of  individual participant training to be fixed with each individual participants, which is to be completed within 6 months from the first day of the training. Total learning hours = (5 hours x 1) + (3.5 hours x 2 sessions of individual participants training) = 12 hours. This arrangement is necessary so that participants could effectively inherit the skills to do own company accounts, secretarial and tax submission.  Note: We have been receiving too many calls from vendors and service providers. We appreciate that vendors and suppliers do not call us, whatever you are offering. We will do our search and procurement when need arises.

Course Details

First Training Day: Thursday 27th April 2017 10.00am to 4.00pm

Course Fee: S$1,000/= (no GST) per participant

Maximum Class size on first day of training : 3 training participants

Venue: 1 Scotts Road, #24-10 Shaw Centre, Singapore 228208. (Near Orchard MRT) Venue may subject to change. We will inform you of any change via sms and/or email at least 2 days prior to change.

Note : We normally do not station at our offices above as these are our shared/virtual office. Course registration and payments should be done online.  We operate this way so as to save on overhead cost, in order to be viable long term. Training can also be done at your office. Some companies have requested for such arrangement.

Training Course coverage:

1. Company Incorporation

2. Prepare full set of financial statements (including Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flows)

3. Book Keeping for Full Set of Accounts

4. Company Secretarial Matters

5. Tax Computation & Tax submission through Form C-S (for companies with revenue below S$1 million per year)

6. Brief browse on company and commercial law

This would basically covers all that is needed to handle a small or medium, solvent private limited company (revenue below S$5 million per year) with no corporate shareholders. A small company would therefore only incur $315/= for a one-off incorporation fee and a yearly recurring annual filing fee of $60/=. This training is also suitable for aspiring entrepreneurs, with or without CPA qualifications, thinking of setting up a business in providing book keeping, accounting, secretarial and tax services. 

Accounting software will not be taught in this training. We strongly do not encourage the use of accounting software, as we are of the view that most accounting software generally make things a lot more difficult that it would have been without.  If you insist on using accounting software, please revert to your accounting software vendor to solve all problems relating to your accounting software.

  2. Hard & Soft Copies of course materials (editable sample documents such as Financial Statements, Company Registers, Minutes, Cash Book, Book Keeping, Forms & All our Super Simple Accounts Template New)

Included in the course fee, is an assessment that will be conducted within six (6) months from the course date. Reference letter will be issued, which serves as an affirmation on areas of competencies based on the assessment.
